Hetao Vision:
Innovative AI Video Competition
1. Overview:
The curatorial team of UABB invites creators to imagine the future of Hetao through innovative, visionary videos generated by AI tools. Hetao, also known as the “Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Co-operation Zone”, is established under the vision of “one river, two banks” and “one zone, two parks”. Hetao is also the site of UABB (Shenzhen) where the both curatorial teams showcase innovative exhibits on AI, Tech and Art by local and international experts. This competition seeks to explore creative interpretations of the grand vision of Hetao regarding interconnectivity, innovation, and inclusiveness as a strategic development in the Greater Bay Area.
Being the first technological infrastructure in Hetao, the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park (HSITP) focuses on six pillar industries - Life & Health technology, New Energy, New Materials, Microelectronics, Robotics and AI & Data Science. This features that Artificial Intelligence being the very subject of the Hetao development. This competition uses AI to envision AI's future home, creating a powerful meta-dialogue, democratizing futurology, allowing a diverse range of voices to prototype, critique, and dream about what is to come in a medium that is accessible, dynamic, and inherently forward-looking.
Through movement, sound, and the passage of time, a vision video is the perfect canvas to capture this essence. Creators will build a narrative, evoke emotion, and construct immersive worlds that static images or text cannot, telling a complete story of a future lived experience.
Creators are encouraged to study the background, the vision, and the needs for the Hetao development and create a video that comes across
1) interconnectivity - how tangible and intangible elements could be connected, physically and socially, between the Hong Kong park and Shenzhen park of Hetao?
2) innovation - how architectural and urban design in the future Hetao innovate and differentiate from common typologies, aesthetics and atmosphere?
3) inclusiveness - how does Hetao serve as a culturally vibrant, inclusive and social hub for technology talents coming from all parts of the globe?
