Collaborative Ephemeral Pavilion - Design with Technology
Description
In response to the UABB theme, Techformance emerges at East Kowloon Cultural Centre as an ephemeral structure crafted from repurposed scaffolding, reflecting the rapid urban transformation around it. This installation, in collaboration with PolyU Architectural Students and the Industrial Centre, features 3D-printed and laser-cut heritage images that serve as vessels of memory, inviting community participation.
Techformance—Technology, Platform, Performance—transforms spectators into creators, fostering a living narrative. As the sun sets, the structure glows, becoming a beacon of creativity and remembrance, celebrating the past while embracing future possibilities.
